Research priorities on transitions from children’s to adults’ social care

Social Care Wales has launched its second survey open from 14 June to 7 July. This builds on their first survey, which was held in the spring. From the first survey responses, they’ve identified a range of research questions for the long list.

They’re now asking young people, family members, carers and professionals to help again and take part in this new survey to pick their ‘top 10’ from the list of questions. They’d like to encourage people to select their preferred questions, even if they didn’t complete the previous survey. They want to make sure that the final shortlist reflects the key things their stakeholders want research to explore.

The survey is part of a research priority-setting exercise to help understand what barriers, problems and uncertainties young people face as part of transitions from children’s to adults’ social care.

What can you do?

Please take part in the survey, encourage your contacts to take part, it will take fewer than 10 minutes to complete and is open from 14 June to 7 July.

Are there alternative ways to contribute?

Social Care Wales know that not everyone wants or is able to complete a survey, and some may find it easier to share their views and experiences in a conversation.
