Become a Health and Care Research Wales Specialty Lead - Apply now

Health and Care Research Wales are recruiting Specialty Leads and applications are invited in 31 specialty areas for a period of three years, with a one year inital term for a Social Care Specialty Lead.

Specialty Leads in Wales provide important strategic support as part of the Health and Care Research Wales Support and Delivery Service. They provide strong UK-level engagement for Wales in clinical research portfolio monitoring and research delivery.

As a Welsh Specialty Lead you will be an experienced and high-calibre clinical leader, able to command the respect of colleagues UK wide. You will understand the research delivery needs and priorities of NHS Wales in your specialty area and champion the uptake of studies. You will have the skills to network effectively, enthusing NHS colleagues in Wales to engage effectively in research.
