Multiarm Therapeutic study in pre-ICU patients admitted with COVID-19 - Repurposed Drugs (TACTIC-R)

TACTIC is recruiting patients at an early stage of COVID-19 disease course, aiming for a time point where the patient is experiencing infective symptoms and starting to show pulmonary complications. The purpose is to prevent organ damage and reduce the need to transfer to ICU and ventilation. The aim of this trial is to reduce the number of COVID-19 patients that will be admitted to ICU.

BREATHE: B cell Receptor Evaluation for Antibodies to proTect Human Exposure to SARS-COV-2

PROJECT BREATHE aims to bring together a coalition of companies, academics, NHS and public sector across the UK and internationally to generate large numbers of doses of therapeutic antibodies against COVID19. In order to be successful, we need to source samples from patients with a range of responses to viral infection.

Characterising the immune response in COVID-19

This research will look at the immune system response in a range of hospitalised COVID-19 patients and in biobanked samples using very advanced blood analysis not normally available in hospital settings. We hope to identify patterns of immune response in people with COVID-19 at different stages / severity of illness.
