The clinical research agreement

Your study may need a clinical research agreement in place, sometimes called a contract between the research sponsor and the site where the research is being conducted.

This lays out the nature of the study, the roles, responsibilities and liabilities of all parties involved. The form of agreements varies according to the research, e.g. student research, clinical trials of medicinal products, medical devices research, or primary care research, and would include commercial and non-commercial research.
