Brain Repair and Intracranial Neurotherapeutics Unit

The Brain Repair and Intracranial Neurotherapeutics (BRAIN) Unit is a research organisation working to develop new therapies for brain diseases. Our work focuses on neurological and neurodegenerative conditions such as Huntington’s disease, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. The BRAIN Unit will bring together experts in a range of fields from Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor Universities, along with colleagues in NHS Wales and industry. We believe that through innovation and collaboration, our research can lead to more effective therapies and make life better for those affected.
